The installer contains the main application with Capture, Selector, computer-vision methods, projects, Automation Runtime, AI Assistant and voice features. Screph Code requires an installed Pro Agent; some functions also require model files, external services or a configured input method.

Windows installer

The file can be checked against its checksum before installation. The wizard lists complete-product components and additional runtime components. Keep a separate copy of important projects and settings before updating.

The website does not compare installer version numbers. If the directory contains several files, it serves the file with the latest modification time. Before that, the publication script copies an explicitly selected version, or by default the highest versioned installer, to ScrephInstaller.exe.

Before installing

OS: Windows 10/11 x64 target; current binaries are AMD64, but the release manifest does not yet contain a minimum build or compatibility matrix.
The installer enforces no fixed CPU/RAM minimum. Requirements depend on frames, Capture, models and Screph Code; the main product does not require a discrete GPU.
NVIDIA CUDA is optional acceleration for model-backed CV. YOLO defaults to a CPU path; the OmniParser GPU checkbox is currently persisted but not read by its runner, so it is not yet a reliable device control.
Local CV works without a cloud service; some models may need a separate download.
Cloud LLM and speech-to-text require network access and credentials for the selected provider.
GUI action execution requires a configured Arduino HID, legacy serial or FakerInput Virtual HID backend.
FakerInput installs a system driver through UAC; flashing Arduino modifies an external device. Ordinary application installation does not trigger either action.
For the 1.0.9 full configuration, repository metadata reports about 3.9 GiB of uncompressed default components before user data and models. Optional packaged ML adds about 1.36 GiB, while the managed ML pack may use up to another 6.5 GB; the wizard provides the authoritative estimate for the selected drive.

What the installer wizard lets you choose

Screph ships as the complete product. Technical installer components control installation size and the availability of their related capabilities. The matrix below describes the current full-build configuration confirmed by the 1.0.9 repository metadata. When the served file above has no release manifest, this matrix does not prove that file's exact component versions.

Account and online services	Selected	Adds the packaged account/auth runtime. Local workflows remain available without signing in; network capabilities require an explicit sign-in, credentials or request.
Managed dependencies	Selected	Provides managed Python, a wheelhouse, assets and the runtime configuration/check wizard. It does not mean every model is already installed.
Model-backed CV / ML	Not selected	Classic CV remains available. Selecting the ML component also enables the managed ML workflow: by default it offers a verified network download of about 334 MB, and the installed pack may use up to 6.5 GB; a local pack can be selected instead.

Known Alpha metadata limitation: in the fresh generated Updates.xml, the Russian names of several split components are stored as mojibake even though IDs, defaults and dependencies remain readable. Until corrected, rely on each component's purpose and the wizard warnings; ML is off by default.

Why SmartScreen may warn

The currently served file has no Authenticode signature. Windows cannot verify its publisher, so SmartScreen may warn. SHA256 only proves that the downloaded bytes match the file on this server; it does not prove publisher identity. Install this Alpha build only if you accept that risk.

Source composition, licenses, change history and contribution details live in the repository. Product pages describe Screph as one complete program.

The currently served file has no manifest/SBOM, while the fresh 1.0.9 candidate has not yet passed the strict automated license gate: 25 package-metadata findings remain unresolved. The wizard also exposes no aggregated third-party notice. This is an Alpha release boundary, not a legal assessment of individual packages.
